Dear Kellogg Families,
It is an absolute honor to serve the Kellogg community as Principal. I am extremely optimistic about the future of our school and look forward to continuing to build the passion of our community to bring your child a world class education. I believe that your child should feel welcomed, safe, encouraged, motivated, and challenged on a daily basis at Kellogg Elementary. As a staff we constantly strive and dedicate ourselves to seek innovative ways to foster your child's success, because there is nothing more important to us.
One of my main priorities as your leader is the heart of what brought me into education: building positive, lifelong relationships with students, parents, and teachers. Look for me to be out and about before and after school on a regular basis, joining the action on our playground, and walking through our campus and classrooms. My desire is to engage and involve both you and your child on a daily basis. Remember, the school and home form an integral partnership in supporting your child. Your presence and input are not only welcomed and encouraged, but a monumental component in ensuring that we set our students up for optimal success. Joining out Parent Teachers Association (PTA), School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), becoming a special event participant, or being a classroom volunteer are just a few easy ways to plug yourself into supporting our school community. Kellogg Elementary has tremendous potential, and the only way we can maximize it is through working together collectively.
We have an extremely exciting year ahead of us, and I am elated to join you on this journey. Thank you for choosing Kellogg Elementary as a place to educate your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, suggestions, or just to strike up a conversation! You can send me an email at any point in time at Christopher.firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at (619) 420-4151. My door is always open, and I am available to serve you.
