Makerspace - Heritage is proud to offer a Makerspace! This classroom has been converted into a collaborative space for students to invent, learn, and explore. Students walks into the Makerspace and use it as an extension of the learning that has taken place in their classrooms. Currently in our Makerspace we have Osmos, Spheros, Snap Circuit Kits, Legos, a Green screen, and engineer materials. With these materials, students are learning the foundational skills for coding, engineering, and audio visual arts.Students are challenged to use their knowledge of societal problems to develop innovative ways to use technology to create solutions. As we continue to expand our Makerspace, we will continue to give students authentic experiences connecting to the world of work and will continue to develop the skills that will be relevant to careers of the future.
