WELCOME Parents and Community Members!
On behalf of the distinguished staff at Heritage Elementary school, we want to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. We know we have experienced an unprecedented disruption to our public school system, but that does not mean that rigorous, daily instruction will cease. We are looking forward to a productive partnership in which we hope you will take comfort in knowing that we truly believe that learning is non-negotiable. At the center of this stance is a deep belief that equipping students to take charge of their learning reduces dependency and empowers children. As we celebrate our 20th year anniversary this school year, our goal at Heritage remains the same: it is to ensure that students are progressing towards being contributors in a global society. We celebrate diversity, values, and multilingualism. We are committed to excellence in promoting diverse, engaging first instruction and meaningful learning with the "whole-child" in mind. We look forward to serving you and providing your child/children with the best education possible.
We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child's education, maybe even more so as we continue to embark on the path of Distanced Learning; we know that your participation in your child's education is vital. Our parent organizations enrich the education of your child. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), School Site Council (SSC), English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) and the classrooms welcome your virtual participation. On behalf of the Heritage staff, we thank you for your support and look forward to working with you during the 2020-2021 school year.
