The state’s new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) replaced California’s finance system for schools. This means districts like ours will receive additional funding for low-income, English learner, and foster youth. School districts will be required to produce Local Control and Accountability Plans (LCAPs), demonstrating how increased resources are linked to meeting the needs of all students. In tandem, the funding formula and accountability plans increase local decision making authority while also enhancing transparency and accountability. On May 21, the Board of Education will conduct a public hearing to receive input on the District's 2014-17 Local Control Accountability Plan. View plan here. Learn more here.

Volunteers who want to gain access to school sites during school hours, or volunteer on field trips, will be asked to present a valid CA driver's license or acceptable ID card. Volunteers must also show proof of TB clearance.
